Riverfest returns from 19–27 September, bringing communities together to explore, enjoy, and care for the Parramatta River, its creeks, and surrounding environment.
This year’s program offers activities for all ages and interests. Celebrate spring at Weekend in Wistaria in Parramatta Park, dance beside the water on the Riverfest Silent Disco Walk, or join a community clean-up at Kissing Point Park, Bedlam Bay, Halliday Park, or Toongabbie Creek.
You can also discover local birdlife on a guided walk from the Field of Mars Reserve to the Lane Cove River, take part in microplastic sampling and citizen science, or enjoy a free screening of the visually stunning documentary River, narrated by Willem Dafoe.
