We were thrilled to welcome so many representatives from our member organisations to a half-day planning workshop, focused on shaping the PRCG’s strategic priorities for the coming years.
Discussions covered key areas such as Rights of Nature and embedding First Nations knowledge in waterway planning, strengthening community stewardship, improving stormwater infrastructure and regional governance, and tackling climate change impacts.
The workshop builds on a big year for PRCG, celebrating the opening of new swim sites at Putney and Bedlam Bay (Gladesville) and supporting planning for future sites at Callan Park, Mort Bay, and Cockatoo Island/Wareamah.
We are very grateful for the ongoing collaboration and commitment of our member organisations and partner agencies as we continue working together to protect and enhance the health of Our Living River – for both the community and the environment.
